The general Roman attitude towards incest ("no public accusations until after the girl's safely married, so it won't negatively impact her prospects") may or may not work in Octavia's favor here. Atia's opinions? God, who even knows what's going on there. Follow your heart.

So, what we were thinking of with this one is, Basch is the new Judge Gabranth. Wonderful! Only one problem: he’s a better person than his brother was, and Larsa expects certain things from his Judge that Basch doesn’t want to give him. Not that it matters, really.

Maybe this is immediately post-game, and Larsa’s grief over Gabranth the first’s death and lack of any models for healthy boundaries and relationships get Basch in over his head. ~~Maybe this is years on, and Larsa’s old enough now that he can understand what’s wrong here, if only Basch could admit to Larsa that he’s never been a consensual party to this.~~

This is an admittedly unhinged request, and I'll let past us explain it. From S4S '22:

A bit of lore background: when Menenius was 15 (what appears to be Garlean age of majority) Lyon was 28. Menenius was also most likely still, eh, 4’10” on a good day, and Lyon was a close confidant of the man who pressured his father into marrying his mother and adopting him. So while today they’re clearly an old married couple, the early days of their relationship may have been a bit… messier. Please milk this for as much sexy political drama as you desire.

We’d love something from the first months or years they were together, when Menenius might have found himself set up with a brash older mentor and all the expectations of sexual favors therein (whether Menenius is intimidated, afraid, or just expecting to view their relationship as just another chore expected by his parents), only for the both of them to catch feelings for each other after all.

Pandaemonium brought us some fun and interesting details, like wouldn't it be fun and sexy if Elidibus had been intimate with Lahabrea already but only known him as his half-souled self, all his most violent and uninhibited tendencies removed? Wouldn't it be so incredibly hot to see newly-whole Lahabrea absolutely obliterate this twink? For that matter, Themis is the name of Gaia's daughter in Greek mythology (as Erichthonios is really Hephaistos and Athena's son), and Gaia-Loghrif was the original Convocation member set to become the Heart of Zodiark. What changed? Why Themis-Elidibus? Did Mitron and Loghrif go to Lahabrea for assistance creating a soul custom-made for the duty? Was Elidibus born to be sacrificed?

...Wouldn't it be hot if he was?

Basically anything you could think of to do with these two will make us go insane. Bonus points if Elidibus' piano-playing (see the cover art for the Shadowbringers piano collections and Soken's Elidibus cosplays at Fanfest) is involved here at all - we have a relentless hand and finger kink, not to mention a teacher/student kink.

To start out with here I'm gonna copy/paste a section of an old Storkswap letter - if you, too, are an individual of taste and refinement and love pregnancy and kidfic, feel 100% free to write some teen pregnancy or overwhelmed teenage parents in a toxic household for us, but you can also ignore that element completely! Either way, it's a helpful infodump.

According to the AST 80 quest, Sharlayan nobility and other wealthy families practice arranged child marriage. Depending on how you choose to interpret characters’ ages and the game’s timeline, Fourchenault could’ve reasonably been anywhere from 17-24 when the twins were born (17 if the ages listed in the lorebook are at a character’s first appearance and the timeline is analogous to the expansions’ real-time release dates, as Yoshi-P referenced in LL68; 24 if no/a very short time has passed, the twins are 16 now, and weren’t lying about their ages in ARR). He was also very likely pre-growth spurt ;)

Maybe Fourchenault and Ameliance were betrothed from childhood and happy to marry; maybe they fell in love while one or both was engaged to another, and had to, ah, convince their families that it would be much less of a scandal if they were allowed to dissolve their engagements and wed each other; maybe, if Fourchenault was a little older when the twins were born, he and Ameliance conceived while he was (gasp!) married to the girl his parents picked for him. Maybe they’ve known each other their whole lives, maybe their families are long-time political rivals, or maybe Fourchenault met Ameliance in Garlemald when he went there to try and secure a peace treaty shortly before the twins were born.

You can also go less canon, more iddy with this! We're always in favor of ignoring canon timelines for horny reasons in this household. Basically, we just want to see Sharlayan child marriage stuff here, and we always love teacup elves. If you want to make Ameliance a little bit older (and already tall) that's very sexy, we think! We've loved these two since back when Fourchenault was just a blurry face in the Encyclopedia and Ameliance didn't have a name. We've been talking about their sex lives for - I'm dead serious - four years now. We would love fic of them so so so much.

Jannequinard de Durendaire (adult)/Leveva Byrde (child) (TEEN) (NAWA) (FIC WITH SMUT) (FIC WITHOUT SMUT)

Canon is a fuck and has been retconned a million times, but the original version has the largest age gap and is therefore the sexiest. To quote Storkswap:

Listen, the Bole is in the eighth house right now and that means Janne and Leveva are going to have a baby. Or something.

This is a super straightforward request, to be honest, and the tags all speak for themselves: they’re in love, they should get married, they should maybe have seen the condom breaking coming, what with being professional fortune-tellers and all, and if Leveva’s showing a bit at the wedding, well, that’s fate. We’re looking for canon-typical romcom hijinks, canon-typical long-winded astrology jokes, and canon-typical attempts on Jannequinard’s life and the lives of anyone he cares about (usually but not exclusively by his father and uncle).

These quests have been retconned several times, but we tend to prefer their first iteration, which has the largest age gap (Janne in his 40s and Leveva 16) and places Janne as Charlemend’s second son*—Carvallain’s younger brother—but third in line after Carvallain and then their baby cousin Ronantain. Janne is probably Leveva’s godfather under Sharlayan law, but what the Holy See doesn’t know can’t hurt it!

*Or perhaps publicly recognized as his son but actually Charlemend's brother's bastard by his wife!

If you're particularly invested in something from the new Ultimania lore and want to write that, go for it, but if you're insane like us and are like 'actually, no, I came up with Benedikta's whole backstory in my heart already just based on the game' this is your invitation to write exactly that.

We're big on Benedikta and Cid being Mid's bioparents (Bene'd've been 17 when Mid was born if we go by her Ultimania age), and we'd love fic about that! We'd love fic about Bene discovering what it's like to be cared for and have her own desires and needs taken into account and what it's like to discover she is, for once, not scared of a man in her life!

As per the Cid/Bene request: ignore whatever from canon or from Ultimania doesn't suit you! We can be the change we want to see in the world, and we can give Benedikta a story that actually treats her halfway decently - and for that matter, makes a little bit of sense! If you have headcanons that don't mesh with the lore, we want to see your headcanons way more, I promise!

Absolutely obsessed with Benedikta discovering the feeling of being loved and cherished and having her desires and needs taken into account and not being treated as an object. With Hugo especially, with their incredible size difference, and maybe a not-insignificant age difference too, Benedikta coming to the realization that she's not the least bit afraid of him, and how safe she feels with him, and how powerful that makes her feel. He would never, ever hurt her: she's sure of this, and she's right, and he might very well be the only person in her life that's actually true of (more negative takes on Cid in the background or history of endgame Bene/Hugo is fine for this request!).

I vaguely have this headcanon about Hugo having been a child soldier before he awoke as a Dominant, and Hugo and Benedikta being able to connect with each other on this level of having actually spent a great deal of their lives truly helpless, something that just isn't really true for Barnabas or Cid, certainly not to the same extent. Feel free to run with that, or go with something else that speaks to you - this request at its core is really just all about giving Benedikta some goddamn agency, and if you do that we'll love you forever.

Sleipnir Harbard (adult)/Barnabas Tharmr (child) (TEEN) (NAWA) (FIC WITH SMUT)

Okay so once again, we recognize that Ultimania just came out, but we do not care literally at all about keeping "canon compliant". Wouldn't it be fun and cool actually if Dominants awoken generally younger (X-Men puberty metaphor style), and maybe Barnabas' mom died when he was younger and more vulnerable, too, so when he awakens as Odin his newfound power gives him a companion in the form of...whatever the fuck Sleipnir is? A very sexy twink, when you're a hormonal teen, and and an emotional support magic horse to boot! What more could a boy ask for?

DNW note: the game obviously flirts with an incestuous relationship between Barnabas and his mom, or at the very least something Freudian going on there. Canon-typical grief is fine, very brief allusions to CSA are fine if necessary, but please under no circumstances put any explicit details about a sexual relationship between the two of them in the fic, and please do not depict it as consensual.
